FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF VILLA RICA

First Baptist Church of Villa Rica is a missions focused church that strives to “reach an ever changing world with the never changing word”. First Baptist has been under the leadership of Senior Pastor Jeff Jones since November of 2006. Sunday morning worship averages approximately 700 people.

First Baptist is also home to a growing Hispanic congregation. Iglesia Bautista Hispana, under the leadership of Rev. Pedro Tomas, meets on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. and Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.

The church is located at 1473 West Highway 78 Villa Rica, GA 30180. Sunday worship service is 10:15 a.m. Sunday School is 9:00 a.m. Evening worship is 6:00 p.m. G.O.L.D. (God’s Older Leaders and Doers) is a ministry to seniors that provides fellowship, social interaction, entertainment and activity that is both Christ-centered and church-oriented. It also provides a balance of opportunities to engage seniors in education, mission, outreach and ministry experiences.

COLONIAL HILLS BAPTIST CHURCH

Colonial Hills was originally founded in 1927 in East Point, Ga. They merged with Gospel Light Baptist Church in Lithia Springs in 1995 and the two churches were named Colonial Hills Baptist Church. The Gospel Light Rescue Mission was opened on Peachtree Street in downtown Atlanta in May of 1982. Bro. Ernest Gignilliat served as the superintendent. Literally hundreds of souls have been saved because of the faithful giving of the gospel. This ministry continues today under the direction of King’s Way Baptist Church.

The church is located at 7131 Mount Vernon Rd. Lithia Springs, GA 30122. Pastor Mark Smith has served as Senior Pastor of Colonial Hills since 2003.

The church is home to Colonial Hills Christian School, established in 1959, and a thriving missions outreach that currently supports 138 missionaries and projects. Weekly services are held Sundays at 9:30 a.m. for Sunday School, Morning service and Children’s Church is 10:40 a.m. and Evening Service at 6:00 p.m. AWANA begins at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and Evening Prayer Time and Bible Study is 7:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Great Commision Saturday is the first Saturday of each month. Teen Choir and regularly scheduled Ladies Fellowship are also available. BEULAH BAPTIST CHURCH

Beulah Baptist Church was founded nearly 140 years ago. Pastor Wayne Bray has been at the helm since January of 2006. Pastor Bray brought with him a new vision for Beulah as “a place for new beginnings”. Pastor Bray says, “I am convinced that God is about to do something so great that no person or people could possibly take credit for its happening. We have a passion for people and a desire to help them discover God’s will for their lives. Beulah wants to invest in our children and teens, realizing that they are the church of today. I personally want to invite you to come and discover for yourself all that God has for you here at Beulah.”

Sunday Service times are: 9:15 AM - Open Groups, 10:30 AM - Worship, 5:00 PM - Christian Life Classes and Preschool/Children’s Choirs, 6:00 PM - Worship. Wednesdays: 6:45 PM - AWANA and W.H.A.M Students, 7:00 PM - Adult Bible Study and Adult Choir Rehearsal. Beulah emphasizes their ministry to children. While some may believe that “children are the future of the church”, Beulah believes that kids who know Jesus are part of the church now. Their goal is to teach them to love and adore our Lord Jesus.
